Google Photos is going on a multi-city tour, wants to give you free grub for using Photos
With the newly launched Google Photos probably being your go-to choice for backing up pictures and videos, not everyone knows about it. To help spread the word, Google Photos is now teasing an upcoming promotion for July 29th in New York City using the hashtag #paywithaphoto. No, it’s not some kind of new mobile payments service (thank god), or anything really having to do with payments at all.
Apparently a Google Photos food truck will be rolling through a few cities in the US, starting with NYC, Portland, Los Angeles, and Austin. Participants looking to grab a free meal will be asked to show a specific type of photo stored in their Google Photos library. Once located, they’ll score free grub from the truck. Kind of strange, but fun (we love food trucks). Droid-Life was able to find out the specific stops, dates, and times. Check them out below.
