LG today unveiled the LG Bello 2, the second generation of a mid-range smartphone that won’t break the bank. The original phone was a decent option for those who couldn’t shell out for something like an LG G3. So how does this one stack up?
Well… It’s pretty much the same smartphone — even right down to battery size — only now it has a 5 megapixel front camera as opposed to the 1MP shooter on the original. Here’s how the spec sheet reads:
- Chipset : 1.3GHz Quad-Core
- Display: 5.0-inch FWVGA (854 x 480)
- Memory: 8GB ROM / 1GB RAM / MicroSD
- Camera: Rear 8MP / Front 5MP
- Battery: 2,540mAh (removable)
- Operating System: Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
- Size: 140.8 x 71.6 x 9.6mm
- Weight: 155g
- Network: HSPA+ 21Mbps (3G)
- Connectivity: Wi-Fi 802.11 b, g, n / Bluetooth 4.0 / A-GPS / USB 2.0
- Colors: White / Titan / Gold
- Other: Single SIM / Dual SIM
Again, not bad… just not enough of an upgrade over the original if you can find it at a decent price (unless, of course, a front-facing camera really is that important to you). LG hasn’t yet attached a date or price to this thing, but promises information will be released for each market it launches in as those times approach. Stay on the lookout if you’re interested.
