Wondering then the 2015 Moto G is coming? We’ve always known a summer release was in order, but the folks at Brazilian publication Tecmundo seem to have a more pointed date.
According to them we should see a reveal July 28th, which should be perfect for an eventual August release. Whether the Moto G will share spotlight time with the 2015 Moto X remains to be seen, though it’s worth noting Motorola has made a trend of announcing lesser devices a week or 2 in advance of their heavy hitters for the season.
Muddy release date business aside, there shouldn’t be more than a month or 2 between now and a launch so it won’t be long before you’re able to buy one. We’re expecting a very affordable phone — sub-$200 — that brings a 720p display, quad-core processor and a decently capable camera, all with 4G LTE and running on the latest version of Android. Stay tuned. In the meantime, be sure to check out some renders of what it should look like once it makes its way out of the lab.
