A couple of smart watches have gotten permanent price cuts on Google Play! The LG G Watch R has been cut by a nice $50 following the release of its much more beautiful follow-up today, making it just $250 to buy one. Meanwhile, the Motorola Moto 360 is now $70 cheaper than normal at just $180.
It’s likely these price cuts were made to make room for new inventory of premier smart watches for 2015. While LG’s first big wrist dweller for 2015 is already out (more could be on the way), Motorola’s name has also been in the rumor mill for a sequel to 2014’s best Android Wear watch. We’re likely to hear something right around the time Google I/O rolls around if past timing is anything to go by.
That said, if you couldn’t care less about the latest and greatest and want to snap one of these up on your own you can head to the Google Store right now and order one.

Truth. If you don’t mind charging your watch more or less when you charge your phone the battery life is not an issue. It’s so cool and it looks great. if you’re into Android customising you can use the app Autowear to activate touchless voice commands using Tasker on your phone too.
I kind of want that Asus watch to come down in price. Out of all of them I like the look of it the best.

When google had the sale. had to go in store though because the phone reps said no.

The more options the better. I’m happy with the proliferation of the smart watch market.
i’m getting the Apple Watch -no one. Cant wait to grab the 360 2nd gen when it comes out. I think they are going to be so much better 2nd time around!

That Moto 360 “flat tire” is utterly terrible looking. Every time I see that and I think,”WTF were they thinking?”
Ah, but the question is, will it still be on sale next Wednesday when I get my next paycheck? The last 360 sale ($165) only lasted a few days.
