LG is making nice on their promise to have the LG Watch Urbane out in April. The company has announced that the Android Wear smart watch will find its way into Google Play for 13 different countries by the end of the month.
The list of countries includes Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. This group joins the lucky folks in South Korea who will understandably receive it first.
The Watch Urbane is a premium looking smart watch with stylish good looks. It sets the bar for smart watch standards in 2015, and it also holds the distinction of being the first smart watch to run the latest Android Wear update as it’ll have the new goods pre-loaded.
That update will bring a number of notable features, including new gestures for writing emojis and scrolling through the UI, as well as support for WiFi for those moments when you can’t be close enough to your phone to use the more favorable Bluetooth connection. You can read more about what’s coming right here, and get your wallets ready for whenever it goes live at Google Play (though we’re not yet sure how much you’ll need to pay as LG still hasn’t released those details).
