You wont find any official word from HTC, but after announcing Friday evening that Android 5.0.1 Lollipop would begin rolling out today for the HTC One M8 on T-Mobile — it looks like it was delayed. Before you get up in arms, it’s only been 1 day, according to T-Mobile’s support page (updated only a few hours ago) which shows software update 4.20.531.4 kicking off tomorrow, February 10th.
They haven’t even gotten around to updating the “Improvements” portion of their table, but just know that the update — providing there are no major bugs — should be more than worth the wait. You’ll have your Lollipops soon enough.
Two minutes ago I literally just tried manually updating. Ha.
Now you can rest your pretty little head….. and mash the button first thing tomorrow morning.
Didn’t even have to go to bed already got it, now I can sleep peacefully ;)
A delayed HTC update? That is pretty much the single most expected thing in the Android universe. I’m not really even sure how this is news.
Lollipop on a skinned device is pretty much pointless. Lg g3 for example is 99 percent the same same with HTC one and Samsung.
So, what exactly do they remove, besides the cosmetics? And if cosmetics are 99% of it, I’m happy to stick with Kitkat.
Still don’t have on Sprint.
Update is live I am downloading it at 1:30 AM EST. Hope everyone enjoys the update
Yeah I got it. It’s awesome.
Got it and downloading now
Still waiting on the T-Mo LG G3 update.
Got it now from manual update
