Now that Motorola is officially owned by Lenovo they are making their return to China. They just announced that three of their latest phones will soon be available in China. We’re already familiar with two of the phones, but the third one is “new.”
The Motorola Moto X 2014 and a new Motorola Moto G 2014 with LTE will be headed to China. The Moto X is a very popular flagship phone right now (it took first place in our Reader’s Choice Awards), and the Moto G is an excellent affordable little device. The third device is being called the Moto X Pro, but the specs lead us to believe this device is leading a dual-life.
The Moto X Pro has a 6-inch Quad HD display, front-facing stereo speakers, 13MP camera, 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, and 3,220 mAh batter. Sound familiar? Those are the exact same specs of a device you may know as the Nexus 6.
The Moto X will be available in several different designs, but Motorola is asking users to vote at motorola.com.cn on January 7th. Release date and pricing for all these phones has not yet been shared. Do we have any excited readers from China out there?
