HTC Desire 820 has 64-bit support and big cameras on front and back

HTC is getting in on the IFA fun this morning by announcing the Desire 820. The headlining feature of the HTC Desire 820 is Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with 64-bit support. Android currently does not support 64-bit, but as soon as Android L is released the Desire 820 will be able to take full advantage of it.

The other big features of the Desire 820 are the cameras. HTC has managed to put a 8MP camera on the front of the device. This should help you take some great selfies and wefies. On the back they have a 13MP camera. Other specs include a 5.5-inch HD display, 2GB of RAM, and 2600mAh battery. The Desire 820 will be available later this Fall in a wide variety of colors. No pricing or availability was given.

What do you think of this new Desire? Is 64-bit support or big front-facing cameras things that you look for?
