LG’s only just getting started with the launch of their flagship LG G3, but a spin-off device made for lighter pockets is already on tap. The South Korean company has officially announced the LG G3 Beat, a device that definitely isn’t meant to be an eye-opener in the world of smartphones but could offer up a solid experience for those not looking to fork up the mounds of cash for the high-end options.
Here’s the makeup of the device LG’s hoping will help satiate that particular sector of the market:
It will no doubt feature many of LG’s best software features sitting on top that KitKat installation, such as Smart Keyboard and QuickMemo+. Unfortunately there’s no mention of staples like KnockCode and Q-Slide (read our LG G3 review to learn more about those), so we’ll have to check with them to confirm that these features weren’t able to make the jump.
South Korea gets first crack at this thing as early as tomorrow, with European countries and independent Commonwealth states looking to get the device shortly afterward (the phone will be known as the LG G3 s in those particular regions). Folks interested in snapping one up will be able to find it in Metallic Black, Silk White or Shine Gold.
