Not too long ago, the folks at musiXmatch made their music matching, lyric displaying app available for Google Glass. Following the latest trend in wearables — smartwatches — musiXmatch has given their Android app, not only a complete visual overhaul, but added support for Android Wear devices as well.
The update is available in the Play Store right now and for those unfamiliar with the app, musiXmatch works as a stand-alone music player that displays song lyrics on your Android device. The best part is even if you use another music player or music streaming app like Spotify or Google Play Music, musiXmatch will still able to show you lyrics via a convenient floating widget that scrolls along with your favorite tunes.
With Android Wear support, you can now glance down on your wrist to view lyrics, making it easier than ever to find out exactly what the heck your favorite rapper is spewing out in his songs. I’ve been using it non-stop since the update rolled out yesterday and haven’t noticed any major impact on battery life. Check out musiXmatch for yourself via the Google Play link below.
I have been using it since yesterday and love it… Have not had any issues and for $5 a year subscription it is hard to beat.
Simply AWESOME!!! This is now my favorite Wear compatible app.
I must be missing something obvious but I don’t see a floating lyrics thing on my phone or watch when playing music in google play music.
download latest update and play your music…from any sources
