Looks like Sprint’s putting on a little shindig April 29th, and they’ve dropped an obvious clue as to what the event may entail. The invitation invites attendees to “hear it for yourself,” suggesting this has something to do with audio.
This likely drills down to announcements about HD Voice, which — while already available in select markets — has yet to make as strong of a push as 4G LTE’s footprint. We’re not sure how much of a fuss Sprint would have to put up about HD Voice to put on an entire event about it, but it has to be something pretty significant for Dan Hesse to want to come out and talk about it.
We’ll be circling back around the end of this month to see what all of this is about, so be sure to stay tuned to Phandroid if you want to make sure you’re in-the-know about whatever Sprint is cooking up for the future.
