Tonight is The Walking Dead Mid-Season Premiere and if we had to guess, there are lots of Android fans eagerly anticipating the show. As you may know, AMC has several apps for Android, including one called “Dead Yourself” that we used to create the Walking Droid below:
Definitely the ugliest Android Robot we’ve ever seen, but if you think you can outdo us, download the app and make one for yourself. AMC chooses several fan made “Deaded” pictures leading in and out of commercial breaks, maybe this week’s will include a Zombified Android Robot. For extra kicks, tag it with #WalkingDroid on Google+
AMC has three other Walking Dead themed apps as well:
- Walking Dead: The Reckoning which is a comic book style choose your own adventure action game.
- Walking Dead ZomiEcards that let you send zombified eCards to whoever you’d like
- Walking Dead Survival Test is a timed 7 question quiz that will tell you which character you’re most like based on your answers.
All those apps are pretty silly, but if you REALLY want to get into the mood, Android has no shortage of awesome zombie themed games.
Some of our favorite Zombie Games:
- Dead Trigger 2
- Dead Effect
- Into The Dead
- Zombie Frontier
- Zombie Frontier 2
- Zombie Highway
- Zombiewood
And really, searching the Google Play Store for “Zombie” will return a lot of great high-rated finds.
Don’t forget that Valentine’s Day is coming up, too. If you’re single, take solace in knowing that you can spend as much time with Phandroid as you’d like.
And we mean that in the least creepy way possible.
Enjoy the show!
I love this show, been a fan since the first episode
Always good to see Rob Jackson posting here on Phandroid, just like the good ole days :)
You’re too kind :)
I’m just glad they finally left the prison and are on the move again, because I want to see more depressing pockets of humanity lost.
The only reason that happened is because they took a U-turn and referred back to the comics with the characters they had left. Moral of the story: stop diverting from the comics into a drama show.
Another zombie game I was playing recently (but am about to uninstall): Dead Ahead
About to uninstall because it sucks? Or you beat it? Or some other reason?
Doesn’t suck – it’s just very hard to advance (without paying) and I don’t want to grind.
Bah that’s the worst when it’s a good game and you want to play but get nickeled and dimed into having fun. I understand it from a monetization standpoint, but seriously annoying, there’s gotta be a better way.
