  1. Please no one vote for Chrome, Chrome sucks. The original Android browser was so much better.

    1. Personally, I think Google search takes the cake because of the number of ways I use Now. Having said that, i don’t have Play Music All Access, which i’ve heard a number of people rave about (and it actually came out this year)

      1. Agreed…I think Search/Now is #1 gapp. Comes in handy for me everyday….reminders are a blessing.

    2. Couldn’t agree more. Chrome is the worst thing about Android right now. It lags and sometimes even fails to display the web pages correctly. Stock Android browser FTW.

      1. Never had the problems you mentioned.

      2. Stay off the porn sites :P

        1. I think you will be surprised by the browser compatibility of porn sites.

    3. I actually like chrome, but candy crush…

      1. You not the only one…

      2. candy crush blows chunks.

    4. I have zero issues with Chrome on my HTC One.

      1. Yep works great on my G2.

      2. No problems on my N4 either.

    5. Chrome fails so badly. No text reflow, what a joke. I honestly cannot think of one area where it is better then the old AOSP browser.

  2. I can’t believe more people didn’t vote for Google Keep. I don’t know what I’d do without it.

    1. everyone has different use cases

  3. They don’t have any of my favorite apps! Even for Google apps my favorite is Google books.

    1. vote them in

  4. Where is battle run!!

  5. wtf really uses Play Games? Google Drive should replace it. This list kinda sucks honestly. Maybe it should have my categories

  6. I’m glad they didn’t have the audacity to list Google Now, since that thing has to be the worst app going (after Facebook, of course). Effing drains the sh*t out of my battery so badly that I had to turn it off.

    1. odd, does not drain battery noticeably on mine

      1. No, battery drainage on my gnex 4 is minimal with Now and full location settings wide open.

    2. Well that’s the app though, isn’t it?…sending location. Don’t most of us know there’s extra battery drainage going into it? If I know I’m not going to need Now on a particular day and battery usage may be an issue, I turn off Location. But IMO, saying it’s worse than Facebook, when subjectively speaking, it’s probably one of the most innovative app ever (especially within this last year), has gotta be exaggeration.

      1. I think you can go so far as to say that even objectively it’s one of the most innovative apps ever. Really its fantastic.

  7. all these fucking apps suck

    1. You can pick a different app, try clicking the link.

  8. Peter North’s Decorator. Hands down (or up, if you want to protect your face).

  9. Need best root apps list too

    Titanium Backup
    Viper4Android
    Xposed Installer
    Root Explorer
    Etc….

    1. thanks for the tip, had never heard of Viper4android before

      1. Great app for audiophiles.

  10. These lists suck.

Where’s aCar, Llama, gReader, GasBuddy? Just to name a few.

    1. You can “write in your pick” for any app not just the ones of the list, before complaining you could have clicked the link first you know.

      1. I read the article, clicked the link, then commented FYI. It still doesn’t negate the fact that the pre determined apps suck and won’t push people to try new actually useful apps but rather add more fluff to the popular ones.

  11. No real racing 3, tasker, Nova launcher, Swiftkey, mSecure- password, poweramp? jokes
