Sprint Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 launches October 11th for $50
It looks like Sprint is looking to offer an affordable tablet experience for customers not interested on spending hundreds of dollars on a device. The company has just announced that they would begin selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 starting October 11th, and that they would be looking to let the 7-inch slate go for just $50.
Samsung’s base Galaxy Tab line has been transformed into one tailored toward budget-conscious shoppers, with the South Korean company’s Galaxy Note line taking the high-end reigns. Its specs include 1024×600 resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 3 megapixel camera, a 1.3 megapixel front camera and more. It also has radios for Sprint’s 4G LTE network.
Sprint is also making the device eligible for purchase in their One Up program, which would allow you to pay full price of it it over the course of two years, and upgrade after a year if you so choose. Adding the tablet to your existing account would cost as little as $5 per month extra, which isn’t a bad value at all.
It’s not quite as robust of an offering as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 – 2014 Edition we just reviewed, but it doesn’t cost $550 either. You have a few days to think about whether or not you want to purchase one on the Now Network once they’re available.
