Guess Google wasn’t able to enforce that soft July 30th launch date for the new Nexus 7 (2013). With an item this hot, retailers like Best Buy and Walmart wasted no time in clearing out their stock as early as today, putting them up for sale a full 4 days early. For those having trouble finding them in stores (I believe the 32GB version is nearly impossible to find), good news: the Google Play store has finally made them available for purchase. Direct links below.
Nexus 7 16GB on Google Play ($230)
Nexus 7 32GB on Google Play ($270)
Nexus 7 16GB Staples ($200 online with coupon code: 41178 | In-store with coupon code 35852)
Nexus 7 32GB Staples ($240 online with coupon code: 41178 | In-store with coupon code 35852)
As a bonus, Staples is currently offering a $30-off all tablets coupon code with free delivery (or in-store pickup), making it seem like the better option while the promo lasts. You can buy either online, or print/show the coupon below for use in-store.
After playing with the Nexus 7 (2013) the last few days, and Google offering free ground shipping, I couldn’t resist picking up another the 32GB for myself. Might wanna save yourself the trouble of hunting down the Nexus 7 locally and just hit up the Play Store. Have at it, folks and don’t forget to visit our Nexus 7 forums to discuss rants/raves about the tablet from not only new owners, but prospective buyers as well.
