Sprint’s 4G LTE rollout has been quite slow compared to Verizon and AT&T, but the carrier has made major strides to catch up today with its latest round of launches. Folks in over 22 different markets will be able to enjoy Sprint 4G LTE as of this morning. The list? Why, of course:
That’s a daunting list with a lot of notables, so I wouldn’t be surprised if a bunch of Phandroid faithful are living in a few of these cities. Of course, the buck doesn’t stop there. Sprint has a lot left to do in order to reach its goal of covering most of its current 3G deployment with 4G by the end of this year. Sprint is thinking ahead, though, and already has a list of the next round of launches to expect:
Unfortunately Sprint only gave us a window of “in the coming months,” so there’s no telling how long it will take to see these cities get lit up. Let’s hope that list ends up expanding by the time Sprint is ready to roll.
