Falcon Pro hits Twitter token limit again, fix is already available

Well, it’s been a while since Twitter developers found themselves in a pinch after the social network started imposing a 100,000 user limit on third-party clients. Falcon Pro was one such app that was affected by the limit, quickly hitting the mark after gaining wild success on Android.

The developers quickly rectified the issue by somehow opening up a new round of tokens for everyone, but they have once again hit that limit. Fortunately it seems like a similar “fix” is already available, with the developers Tweeting that we should be seeing an update in the Google Play Store within minutes.

Just like before, folks will have to re-login to get an updated Token. This system ensures anyone who has since stopped using the app will involuntarily give their token up as opposed to having to keep our fingers crossed that people would release their tokens on their own accord. I know — it sounds more ridiculous each time you think about it.

That Twitter won’t budge on its stance is quite baffling considering how anti-competitive and anti-consumer this is, but that’s the world we live in right now. If you’re still supporting and using Twitter, and you use Falcon Pro to do your daily bidding, be sure to find your update in the Google Play Store.
