Acer Computex 2013 teaser video

Acer teases new tablet for Computex 2013 unveiling [VIDEO]

Never one to be outdone by longtime rival ASUS, Acer too is hyping some new devices for Computex 2013. They uploaded a video to their YouTube channel this afternoon with a hipster spokesperson teasing “a tablet that lets you do more than just use apps and surf the web.” Exactly what that entails is anyone’s guess but Acer believes it will be the “biggest little news” of the event. It’s entirely possible this device may not even be Android related, but given Android’s popularity and open nature, we’d say it’s highly likely.

It was earlier this month Acer announced the Acer Iconia A1, a follow up to their ultra affordable B1. The A1 is due out in June and will feature more capable specs like a 7.9-inch 1,024 x 768 resolution display with 4:3 aspect ratio, quad-core processor, HDMI out, micro SD card slot, all running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Computex 2013 will take place on June 4th in Taipei, with manufacturers like ASUS in attendance, showing off their latest wares. We’ll keep you guys posted.
