A couple of weeks ago, the Google Play Store confirmed ChromeBook Pixel LTE orders would be shipping beginning April 8th. The listing was since updated to say that deliveries would be made 3-5 business days from the time you ordered. Welp, in case you were wondering whether or not Google would stay true to its word we just got confirmation: the ChromeBook Pixel LTE will be arriving on folks’ doorstep as early as tomorrow, April 12th.
The ultra-slim and ultra-light ChromeBook is the most beautiful and functional yet, with a 12.8 inch 2560 x 1700 touchscreen, Intel’s Core i5 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, 4GB of RAM, a 64GB solid-state drive, 4G LTE, 5 hours of battery life and more. You can find more about the device’s specs over at Google Play where you can also plop down the $1,450 it’ll cost you to walk away with one. If you’ve already ordered one make sure to wake up bright and early tomorrow to ensure you don’t miss delivery.

This article reads too much like an advertisement for the Pixel than anything else :-(
$1450?! Wow
Honestly, I want this for the hardware. I like the aspect ratio as someone that uses the web a lot, and I think the touchscreen application is definitely gonna future proof this product a bit. However, I would need to install a more reliable OS that can suit my offline needs.
