LG’s L Series is one of the company’s best selling lines, combining style with affordability and offering consumers with a decent choice between screen size and specs. It’s no surprise, then, that we are seeing a second generation of Optimus L devices at this year’s Mobile World Congress.
The Optimus L3 II, Optimus L5 II, and Optimus L7 II were all on display and we had a chance to check them out. The L3 offers an entry-level experience with a 3.2-inch display. Approaching the Optimus L7 we move up to a 4.3-inch screen and dual-core processing.
The phones are designed to appear a bit pricier than they will eventually retail for, but the looks are betrayed a bit by the feeling in hand. For those looking for a cheap entry point to Android, an L Series device is definitely serviceable, however.
