More details surface on LG Optimus L3 II, L5 II, and L7 II

Though not expected to be the flashiest thing LG will show off at Mobile World Congress, the followup to last year’s stylish L Series is starting to take shape. We can expect to see the Optimus L3 II, Optimus L5 II, and Optimus L 7 II as part of the new lineup.

The three devices will follow the same format as their predecessors. While all are designed as low-cost Android options, the most budget friendly will be the LG Optimus L3 II, which is said to feature a 1GHz CPU and 5MP camera — both upgrades from last year. The Optimus L5 II will also get a 1GHz CPU of the ARM Cortex-A9 variety.

The Optimus L7 II will rock a dual-core 1GHz processor, 8MP camera, and a 4.3-inch display. All three phones would run Jelly Bean out of the box. The L5 and L7 are pegged for dual-SIM variants as well.

Though the L Series tends to fly under the radar compared to devices like the Optimus G Pro (which is rumored to debut with a 5.5-inch display at MWC), the handsets are quite popular around the globe. LG has sold over 10 million Optimus L devices since the lineup was introduced last year.
