Second-generation LG Optimus L7 leaks, supports dual SIMs

LG will give their L series a second whirl around the sun with what is being called the LG Optimus L7 II Dual. How’s that for a name? To followup to last year’s L7, a budget phone with a focus on style, the new device will launch as a mid-range compliment to LG’s more robust Optimus offerings.

The phone is rumored to run a 1GHz dual-core CPU, 4.3-inch IPS display, 8MP am era, and dual-SIM support. The latter option usually indicates a launch in Asia (no brainer), but it’s typical in the smartphone industry for a company to manufacture a single SIM version for release elsewhere. The phone runs Android 4.1 and carries a 2460mAh battery.

The Optimus L7 II will be available in multiple colors towards the end of February, according to the leak. Last year’s models were released at MWC, and there is no reason LG won’t do the same in 2013.
