As much fire as Instagram has been under lately for the changes to its terms of service (which have been reverted for the time being), the company is still working as hard as any to continue to deliver a great experience. A new update has hit the Google Play Store that’ll add some great new features and a ton of new localization. For starters, 25 new languages are supported as Instagram looks to better support its foreign community.
The app also gets a new filter today. “Mayair” is the name of the newbie, and its effect brings a bit of contrast and pulls out a tad of a photo’s highlights. It does’t come with a border but you can add a basic black one if you want. It’s nothing remarkable, really, but it’s yet another option in a growing list of them so we can’t complain. Finally, you’ll now be able to share your Instagram photos to Facebook Pages alongside the existing ability to share your postings to your timeline.
Oh, and if you didn’t think the usual bug fixes and performance improvements were in tow then you haven’t been on Android long enough to know that that is how things operate around here. You can find your download in the Google Play Store if you haven’t already abandoned one of the biggest photo sharing communities there is.
