Is the Nexus 4, 7 or 10 available yet? You can check with this nifty tool

26

If you did not smash and burn that F5 key enough last November 13, odds are you are still waiting for some of those new Nexus devices to show up in the Play Store. There is a very high demand for them, especially for that shiny Nexus 4. If you are like us, you probably check the Play Store at least a couple times a day to make sure you are not missing out again, but it seems there is an easier way to keep dibs on these gadgets’ availability now.

This website is simple and to the point. In a nutshell, it keeps track of Play Store devices and their status. The neat thing is it not only keeps track of the US Google Play Store, but also other countries’. One can easily filter by country or device, so whatever your priority might be, this helpful site has you covered.

It’s a great way to check without having to navigate and click through the whole Play Store, so make sure to bookmark this one if you are still waiting to get your hands on one of the new Nexus gadgets before the holidays!

  1. Google needs a lap top. I would love to break away from microsoft.. or others a Mac. Im not a developer but im pretty sure u cant make an android app with out windows. Am i wrong.. vent over..

    1. chromebook

    2. Well, Google has Chromebooks. You can install Linux in Chromebooks, and I’m sure you can develop from Linux.

    3. But since Google is so much about the web, maybe they should develop some form of SDK website where developers can work from. Then it could be paired with their google drive and they could store all their stuff in there.

      1. they had something like that a couple years back called “App Inventor” they they let it go as open source now its on MIT’s website. http://appinventor.mit.edu/

    4. Google have laptops…Chromebooks running Google Chrome OS, which is mostly a web based desktop environment. They’re made for mostly ultrabooks…

  2. As it happens I have bookmarked the actual N4 page as a direct link.

  3. ordered the nex10 32gb the first day, got it a couple days later.. :)

  4. Says the Nexus 7 32gb HSPA+ is not available for sale yet in the US, so maybe there are some bugs.

    1. Or maybe you need to double check, happens when you switch devices/country too fast.

    2. Small bug I left with the last code update, my apologies. That was the only inaccuracy and now it’s fixed.

      1. Could you add the google Chromebooks too, please?

  5. Ordered N10 1AM PDT 11/20; received 11/23.

    No complains on the process.

Still figuring out the N10 — some issues with the brightness… the screen dims while I am actively using it.

    1. Um… That sounds like auto-brightness. It’s suppose to do that. It dims to match your lighting conditions. I’m guessing you have it off since you’re stating an issue about it, though. Or at least I hope you do.

  6. You suck

  7. To be honest, I am actually surprised by the amount of people that actually want the device. I heard so much talk down about it that I didn’t think it be such a high seller. Maybe Google under estimated the potential this device had. I for one do not want 16GB of space. I need at least 32GB. As of now at least. A year ago that would have been fine. LoL!! But apps are large now and days. =.P

What if this outsells the GS3? Oh wouldn’t that make the front pages.

    1. nowadays

      1. Nowadays
Ah!! My keyboard excepted that. You’re right. Thanks.

    2. Yeah, Chris trashed the screen so much I’ve decided to just keep my Galaxy Nexus even though it’s about 5 times slower than the 4. I expect the next wave of nexus 4 orders to go way down.

  8. I couldn’t care less for the Play store. I want N10 from electronic retailers.

  9. I decided to write my own script. It checks Google Play every 5 minutes and emails me when it’s back in stock.

    1. I have a mailer too, but I can’t open to the public due to the limitations of the function send() on the server the n4checker is hosted.

  10. It’s only a tool and unfortunately it will not say when the Nexus 4 will be available, only if it is available. But anyway, the Nexus 4 is my favourite Smartphone of the year!

  11. Either Google is wrong or that site is. According to Googles Nexus 7 16GB page they are in stock. According to the given link here, they are out of stock.

  12. I have other means to track it down here in the states, but it sure is useful for those overseas as most tracking sites only cover US. Now I know I can order a bumper from overseas. :)

  13. You can also use a page tracker plugin for Chrome or Firefox
