T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Leaked For $300 At Walmart

32

With little more than a vague “in the coming months” launch window for the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2, we’ve all been left wondering, not only exactly when we can pick up the phoneblet, but how many pennies that darn thing is going to cost us. Well, if you’re looking for the on-contract pricing for the G-Note 2, the boys over at TMoNews were able to secure some leaked pricing information for not only the upcoming tablet, but the LG Optimus L9 (the real device you’ve been waiting for).

According to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for T-Mobile could launch at a whopping $300, with the L9 coming in at just under a buck. With Walmart being the “low price leader,” we can only pray the price tag wont go up when sold directly at T-Mobile retail stores. I also have a feeling we’ll be looking at some kind of mail-in rebates so expect the out-of-pocket price to be even higher.

Of course, none of this is confirmed, and we’ll let you know when we learn of something a little more official. In the meantime, have you guys been saving up for big bubba? Or will you opt for the smaller, more petite figure of the Nexus 4?

  1. How much dust did you have to blow off of that ancient ass WalMart picture? LOL

… and what’s all that doors crap?

    1. This is a picture of my local Wally World =/

      1. Hooray for Rancho C.? =/

    2. doors= locations where the offer will be.

  2. Now we just need a release date! $300 makes sense considering what it is.

  3. Walmart doesn’t do Mail in Rebates so most likely $300 is the introductory price.

  4. That’s great! I just really want the titanium grey 64GB version. I’m willing to pay almost any amount for it. With this awesome device a tablet becomes unnecessary in Most situations.

    1. Agreed. I’m guessing they won’t be releasing the 64GB version right away. I’ll settle for the 32 but I definitely will wait if they only start off offering the 16.

      1. Sadly, I was under the assumption that the ONLY version being offered through US carriers was the 16Gb version. Presumably, this is being done to keep prices as low as possible and/or due to the fact that the majority of Galaxy S3s being sold in the US since launch are the 16 gig version instead of the more expensive 32Gb SKUs.

        1. You might be right. Honestly, I probably would just get the 16GB one if it was the only option. I guess I’m desperate for a new phone and even with 16, I think I’d be happy with this phone.

  5. All I need now is the FULL off contract price for T-Mobile and the release date :)

    1. I am going to pick up two of these when I renew my Tmo contract but we really want new nexuses (HTC or Sammy plz). If you are interested in one or both we can work something out.

  6. I’m almost sold… i just need to see it in person. I want to check out all the features…and that screen too. I’m eligible for a upgrade and i just cracked the screen of my htc G2.

    1. My G2 is on it’s last leg too. My contract just expired and I’m ready to upgrade. I’m pretty sure I’m going to love the Note 2 but I do want to see/feel it in my hand to be sure.

      1. I LOVED my G2…having said that, you might be in for a little size shock, going from that 3.7″screen to the behemoth that is the Note 2…don’t let that deter you!! You will get used to it and then not want anything smaller…well, probably.

  7. Can’t beat $50 and a great camera bought an amaze and I’m good for the next 2 years.

    1. Yes you can.

  8. LG Nexus, $450 from the play store, no contract.

    1. Um, *COUGH* $375 *COUGH*

  9. I caved just bought a gs3 today could no longer twke my evo design I wanted the note 2 but couldent wait any longer

    1. im glad I have patience, since its supposed to be released at the end of the month…about 2 weeks patience so I have the phone i really want for 2 long contract years seems worth it.

    2. you have a 14 day return, and it’s coming to sprint in less than 7. So claim battery performance and trade up… It’s the smart thing to do..

      1. Im happy with my gs3 ill keep it for the next two years by far the best device ive ever owned

  10. How can that be? I was in the local Walmart last Friday and they had a price tag on the Galaxy S 3 for T-Mobile of $650.00?

    1. that was probably no contract price

  11. All you guys talking about rockin your G2s. I’m still rockin my vibrant (iczen 4.0.3) and most definitely want this bad boy!

    1. GS1 here as well :) Note can’t get here soon enough

  12. Walmart usually isnt much better then average really unless you do all your shopping at corporate stores. The deals are always at amazon, wirefly, and letstalk….and maybe costco but I sadly dont have one of those so I dont keep up with them.

  13. damn i was hoping the price would be 249
