Google’s own Vic Gundotra may have given Android fans a little more than he bargained for when he posted a seemingly normal pic to his Google+ profile. Upon closer inspection, some Google+ users noticed the photo was uploaded to Google+ using none other than Snapseed — photo editing software similar to Instagram, but much more full featured.
It was only in September than Google bought Snapseed developers Nik Software, and before the acquisition took place, Nik Software promised an Android version of their photo editing software was in the works. It’s only logical to assume that Vic is using an early build of the Android app, and it could be coming soon to the Play Store (or possibly baked into a future Android firmware update?). Everything’s up in the air at this point, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for anything more.
