Samsung hasn’t come clean with any of the details of the Galaxy Note 2’s launch in the US, but it is sounding like next month might be a good bet. Sources speaking to BGR have confirmed that the phablet is currently on track for an October 21st release at AT&T. The date is also said to feature another high-profile launch: the Windows Phone 8 Nokia Lumia 920.
It seems that Samsung is attempting to copy the successful world-wide launch of the Galaxy S3, with head JK Shin pointing towards October as the date of the Note 2’s general launch. All signs to point to the phone finding a home on each of the major US service providers plus at least one regional carrier.

Verizon!!!!!
^^^ THIS ^^^
I made a mock-up of the Note with a true-to-scale image I found on the interwebs yesterday. I want to see if the size is a pain day-to-day before deciding to buy.
I posted a photo on Facebook of how foolish the thing really looks on the side of my head, and a friend thought I had already bought one. I guess I did a good job with the mock-up.
But yeah… Verizon.
Why dont you try to rent it and actually try it ? gizmotakeout and rent a cell are options. You can actually enjoy these gadgets and try before you buy
grab a galaxy note one, see how it feels, and then consider the galaxy note 2 is thinner and lighter but taller
YES! i need a hook up, i cant upgrade until 12/20… i need that chaged to 10/21
dammit, im phoneless NOW! …. o well, its the s3 for me :(

For all those who think Internet Explorer is a modern browser
Honestly I like the Lumia 920. If I was rich I’d buy one on top of my Galaxy Note. I also hope it does well, cause more competition in the market is good for us.
I just can’t trust Nokia. Every other year they come with a different OS then they dump it to go for the next one.
@koolkat2 just buy a cheap pay as you go phone and wait. Not that there is anything wrong with the sgs3, I’m typing on one now and love it. But I’ll be buying a note 2 either international or off contract.
Yeah I’m with you there. I don’t want to have to wait for updates so I may go with the international one.
So this means Verizon will get it around January. :(
Hopefully this is true, but I think I want to get an international one for update/bloatware reasons.
I’ve been sporting the og note since it came out and am ready for a new phone.
I heard from an at&t rep yesterday it was dripping October 1st!
Sprint!! C’mon Sprint, I’ve seen your leaked documents, gimme my Note 2!
I hope it hits Sprint the same time frame. If so I’ll have it
I have a question,is there going to be any differences between the international version and the one coming to the states, like the first one? I’m aware that they will come here with exynos but is there possibly a better processor in the international??
