A new update is reportedly headed out to Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G LTE this morning, and while it does bump up the handset’s Android version, it doesn’t quite take us to Jelly Bean. The latest software, version 2.13.651.1.710RD, brings the EVO 4G LTE to Android 4.0.4 and updates HTC’s custom UI to Sense 4.1. The minor update is expected to mostly serve as a bug fixer, but a complete changelog hasn’t been posted at this time.
The EVO 4G LTE still looks to receive Android 4.1, but just when is unknown at this time. Head on over to the AndroidForums link below and let us know if you have at least received this latest Ice Cream Sandwich build on your device.
