Invites Being Sent Out For Another Motorola XOOM WiFi Update – Expect Bug Fixes

I’ve said it before, the Motorola Xoom WiFi is pretty much Google’s unofficial 10-inch Nexus device. The Motorola Xoom WiFi is still very much alive and kicking, and with a recent update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, it’s pretty much Google’s 10-inch Nexus tablet. Well that Xoom is about to get some more love, this time from in an update from Motorola, and those that are apart of the Motorola Feedback Network will be some of the first to test out what’s in store. Invites have been sent out to MFN members saying,

Hi,

Thanks for joining the Motorola Feedback Network. We are inviting owners of the Motorola Wi-Fi Xoom (U.S. only) to participate in an early preview of a new software release, and provide feedback.  If you are not currently using a Motorola Wi-Fi Xoom, please excuse and ignore this email.

Click this link to take the enrollment survey if you wish to take part. Note that you must be a member in good standing of the Motorola Owners’ Forums to be included. The registration window could close without notice so please respond as quickly as possible.

This is a confidential test under the terms of the Motorola Feedback Network. Do not post any details or information about this on any public sites.

Thanks — please understand that start times are always fluid. We ask for your patience if you register but don’t hear from us right away.

We’ll have to wait a littler longer before an official changelog turns up but until then, just know that some of the bugs that tablet may have experienced after being updated to Jelly Bean will be addressed.

Thanks, Tito!
