Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 gets torn down, surprisingly easy to repair
In terms of ease of disassembly and repair, you won’t find much better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 That’s the verdict from iFixit after they had a god at tearing the tablet down to its most basic elements. Nearly every component can easily be swapped out with a new part, including the display glass. If there was anything disappointing about what was found inside the Note 10.1’s frame it was a relatively skimpy 7,000mAh battery, which sacrificed some capacity to fit within the slate’s 0.35-inch profile.
Other goodies include the tablets Wacom-designed stylus elements and Samsung’s Exynos 4 quad-core CPU with integrated graphics, an implementation that sees some carry over from the Galaxy S3. You can check out the full teardown by visiting the link below.
