OUYA Notifying Backers Of Early Username Reservations Starting This September

Good news for those that helped kick-start Android’s first mini-console into production. The folks at OUYA are updating early backers today, letting them know that starting in September, they’ll be able to reserve their usernames (player ID, gamertag, whatever you wanna call it) before anyone else.

The coolest part? These same backers will be given a “Founders Emblem” that will appear next to their username for the world to see. As an early OUYA adopter, I find solace in knowing that my longtime username — SweetAndroidKisses4U_187 — is safe, giving me a royal flush of a single alias, used across multiple social and gaming networks. BOUYA!
