Seems we’ve finally arrived to that point in time where budget Android tablets are getting even more… budget. With the launch of the modestly priced Kindle Fire and Nexus 7, older affordable Android tabs are now finding themselves struggling to stay relevant, slashing their already low-prices in order to compete. Take the Nook Tablet and Nook Color which Barnes & Noble announced today has been reduced to $180 and $150, respectively.
Still, at only a $20 discount from the Tegra 3 powered Nexus 7 — it’s tough to say if consumers will find this a good enough deal. What do you guys think? Is $20 enough to sway you into a device with (much) lesser specs?
