Vizio Co-Star Google TV pre-orders open at $100, shipping August 14th
Vizio has announced pricing and availability details of their Co-Star Google TV unit. The $99 box, introduced about a month ago, is now available for pre-order and will begin to ship August 14th.
It is one of the most affordable solutions yet save for the Logitech Revue (which actually debuted at $300 but quickly received steep price drops following a lack of consumer demand).
Vizio’s box features a smart remote that gives you a touchpad and standard buttons on one side, and a QWERTY pad on the other. 3D video, OnLive gaming, and more make it one of the more attractive offerings for Google TV in quite some time.
