Samsung SGH-I547 Exposed at the FCC – Looks To Be Headed To AT&T

1

It’s already been Bluetooth certified back in early May, now the mysterious Samsung SGH-I547 is popping up again, this time at the FCC. Thanks to information provided in the documentation, it’s looking like the I547 is bound for AT&T where its radios make it a perfect fit for AT&T’s 3G and 4G LTE network.

The device will also be packing some NFC under the hood, along with a WVGA display and micro SD card slot, making this look like more of a mid-level entry to AT&T’s Android lineup. With the current trend of OEM’s using Qualcomm’s S4 processor in their mid-level offerings, I wouldn’t put it past Samsung to do the same with this device. We’ll keep an eye out for this one.
