Qualcomm’s gotten around to reporting its financial results for their fiscal year Q3 2012. They earned 6% less revenue this quarter compared to the one previous, but rose 28% year-over-year.
Revenues reached $4.63 billion. Profits were up 17% year-on-year at $1.21 billion. These numbers were in line with what Qualcomm expected but were just shy of expectations.
With the push of its Snapdragon S4 processor in devices such as the HTC EVO 4G LTE, HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy S3, and more, Qualcomm should be able to at least maintain, if not surpass, this performance next quarter, though it remains to be seen whether or not the success of these devices will help Qualcomm moving forward.
