The Phone That Won’t Die: HTC HD2 Gets Early Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Port
Came across this news over the weekend and decided to pass it onto you. You may remember the legendary HTC HD2. It launched a good 4 months before the original Nexus One, and since then, developers have been having a field day on this thing. Never listening to naysayers, just about every mobile OS has been ported onto this thing, from Windows Phone 7 to Android. And not just that, it’s ran them. Well.
Also known as “The Phone That Just Wont Die,” more recently developers have managed to shoehorn a pre-alpha Android 4.1 Jelly Bean port onto the device, proving once again that seemingly anything is possible for the HD2. Anyone still have one of these things? Seriously, put it on a pedestal with a plaque that reads, “The phone who lived.”
