I noticed that, too! It’s not in any Touchwiz iteration I’ve seen so far.
It is a built in lock screen for touchwiz.

I preordered the blue in early May but when I found out there were delays I switched my order for the white. And I’m glad I did. The device looks very nice and the feel is awesome.
