Android Overload: Linaro Boosts Android Performance by Up To 100%, LG Optimus Elite on Virgin Mobile Gets Root, and More

Alright, we managed to dig up a few interesting stories for you guys to take a look at, here in the Android Overload. These are all the Google, mobile, carrier and industry related items that didn’t make it onto our front page, but we still felt deserved a look at. The most interesting? Well, how about that Linaro toolchain that was able to boost Android benchmark scores by as high as 100% in some cases. While, benchmarks don’t always directly translate into real world, end-user speed, that’s nothing to sneeze at. Hopefully Google can implement some of that code in Jelly Bean (or future updates to Ice Cream Sandwich). Have a good night, everyone!
