As of now, your chances to win a Google IO Ticket are pretty good. On Friday we announced our contest – with entry requiring you sign up for our Dev Month Newsletter, make some social posts promoting Dev Month, and then circle back and comment on the article: we’ve got less than 15 people who meet the requirements thus far.
So what are you waiting for? You’ve only got about 12 hours left to enter, so head on over to the contest post and get the ball rolling!
Kind of obvious when the developer community may all not be tuned into Phandroid! Good luck to the entrants.
I guess that’s half the idea… to try and cater a bit more to developer’s than we have in the past.
That is a good idea to at least try. Now, you could help the developer who wins the ticket out more as they could wind up selling it for around $1,500 on eBay!
I wouldn’t mind winning tickets to I/O, but I am more concerned with getting on the developer’s list. I haven’t made an app (YET!), so I can’t sign up for news.
Same problem, not gonna be able to sign up as app is not complete yet.
you should give it to koush!!!
Will there be a breakfast buffet at this thing?
There needs to be a way to sign up for the newsletter without an app in the market. I have one 80% done, and would love to get the letter. If you must, make the ticket only available to the devs with a completed app. Don’t limit the newsletter to published devs only, please.
So who won?
