The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Galaxy Player 4.2 can be purchased tomorrow onwards through merchants such as Amazon and Best Buy. While the Tab doesn’t offer any significant improvement over the original 10.1 version, Samsung have brought down the price to $399 for the 16 GB Wifi model (the original started at $499).
As for the Galaxy Player, there’s not much to say. You can get it for $200, but I don’t think there’d be many queueing up (if you are, then please mention so in the comments).

Samsung Electronics America Inc., today announces that its newest additions to the Galaxy Family, Galaxy Tab 2™ 10.1 and Galaxy Player™ 4.2, will be available for purchase nationwide beginning Sunday, May 13.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available for $399.99 SRP, and the Player 4.2 will sell for $199.99 SRP. These complement the already available Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and Galaxy Player 3.6.
Retailers carrying the devices include Amazon, Best Buy, hhgregg, Tiger Direct, WalMart, Office Depot and others. (Not all models available from all retailers).

They are already on sale in walmart saw one today
Yup, my local WM had ’em on sale yesterday. They also have the 8Gb 7″ Tab 2, as does the local Costco. It looks like that 7 inch model will be getting a lot of retail support as a Fire competitor. Ironically, WM still had the previous-gen Tab 10.1″ on display but the Tab 2’s pricetag on the shelf.
