The Motorola Droid 4 update that leaked last week is now reaching devices via official channels. The over-the-air update brings the device’s system version to 6.13.219 and weighs in at only 18MB. Changes include a new MotoCast widget, enhanced battery life, and improved keyboard backlighting. A full changelog can be found over at Verizon’s site.

Wifes droid 4 got this a few days ago via verizon OTA
This is actually one of the better OTA updates I’ve seen. It has a lot of minor fixes, but it really improves the experience of the device. I’ve noticed MUCH better battery life and GPS locking among other things.
No screen improvement software for the Droid 4? Reviewers have described the screen as terrible. I guess Moto still wants to sell it rather than recall it.
