The Acer Iconia Tab A510 is now available for purchase at $449.99. The Tegra 3 slate went up for pre-order back in March and can now be found at a variety of retailers including Amazon or direct from Acer. The A510 is a 10.1-inch tablet with 1GB of RAM to go along with its 1.3GHz quad-core CPU. At the $450 price point it gets 32GB of storage. The tablet is among the first from Acer to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
Speaking of ICS and Acer, their update timeline has been adjusted and the new OS version should be available for the Iconia Tab A500 and Iconia Tab A100 shortly. Both are listed for an April 27th delivery in the US. Canada and Latin America will see the update around the same time.

Until the Nexus Tab comes out so it can be reviewed, I have no interest in other tabs.
I do, I got one of these yesterday via UPS from Amazon. :)
How do you like it? Could you try loading a 1080p video file? 1080p playback is essential for me.. the a500 couldn’t handle it
It handles 1080p flawlessly!
Strange that the A200 has ICS already.
Well, not really, a lot of the tablets being released now have ICS standard. I am even seeing some bargain tablets being released with it.
Nice! I know the a500 isn’t latest and greatest… it still does most of things I ask it to. I love mine. It will be nice to finally try out ICS because I’m not holding my breath for it on my Droid Bionic!
My a500 has had ICS for several months – root it.
