As a thank you for being patient during their system upgrades (which was causing most new customers trouble to sign up for a new connection), TELUS is offering their customers $100 off any device of their choice.
TELUS made the following announcement earlier, regarding their upgrade:
“As you are now aware TELUS systems will be down April 6 12:00am ET to April 8 11:00am ET (April 5 9:00pm PT to April 8 8:00am PT) in order to provide clients with a better experience. We are upgrading our systems in the West to allow the ability to bundle TELUS wireless and FFH services. Unfortunately there is no way to accomplish this without shutting down all systems.”
The offer is valid across Canada, unlike some earlier reports stating that it’s only for the Western location.
