Verizon’s LG Lucid 4G is now available for purchase. The LTE smartphone features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch IPS display, and 5MP camera. The The Lucid also carries 1GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board storage. Android 2.3 is the operating system of choice. We have no word on a potential Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. The specs would have made for a $200 handset a year ago, but today can be had for a mere $79.99 (after $50 rebate) on a new two-year contract with Big Red.

I’d be interesting in this phone because of the smaller form factor if it were 720p and had ICS.
I gave up as soon as I read “LG”.
These specs are very underwhelming, even for the price. I agree with Dave4321.
I wouldn’t be interested in this low to mid range phone, and I don’t think it’s a really good deal since it doesn’t have ICS which is a shame and their is really no reason to be releasing phones with Gingerbread still, with ICS this would be a decent offering for the low – mid end smartphone range. the LG label may also give me pause, have to wait for reviews.
