Miselu Neiro Keyboard is an Android-Based Instrument

Just when we thought we’d seen it all with Android, another company stretches the boundaries (at this point, there seems to be no boundary). Miselu has introduced the Miselu Neiro, a musical keyboard that is Android-powered and will be compatible with music composition applications.

Above a 25-key MIDI keyboard sits a wide display which will run the apps. Miselu is counting on developers creating original applications for the device. iOS developer Retronyms will bring their applications over for this unique project.

On the keyboard will be two MIDI ports, two USB ports, an HDMI port, RCA audio in/out, and an SD card slot, just as you would find on any standard MIDI keyboard. The device will utilize Yamaha’s Audio Engine NSX-1 sound chip to produce realistic and accurate sounds.
