Bump Completely Overhauled In Latest Update – Faster, Better, Stronger and A Whole Lot Prettier

A few years ago, Bump was the app to have on your phone. I remember back before it launched for Android, how jealous I was of my iPhone friends who were bumping phone numbers, contact information and photos, sharing them with fellow Bump users with ease.

Well, Bump is officially making a comeback in 2012 with version 3.0 featuring a whole new UI that picks up design cues from Ice Cream Sandwich, thanks to a cleaner, more simple interface, complete with graphics accelerated animations. It’s absolutely gorgeous. They’ve further enhanced the app by making it even easier to use. Bumps can now essentially be executed with “zero touches” from the user to instantly share contact information.

I know what you’re thinking — a lot of these features have been included in the latest Android 4.0 update but really, who’s getting that anytime soon. Besides, with Bump, it’s cross platform. This means if you meet a pretty little lady in the streets who happens to own an iPhone, you can still get those digits without having to say a word (it’s all in the eyes, guys).

Protip: If you’re afraid of getting your baby chipped by that nasty metal and glass iPhone, (or if you’re a germaphobe like me) you technically don’t have to “bump” devices. Simply give them a good shake while in close proximity and trick the app into thinking you bumped.
