Amazon’s posted another great deal for another great Android phone. The all-day battery having DROID RAZR MAXX is normally $300 in Verizon stores but Verizon’s willing to let it go for just $200 if you’re a new customer signing a new two-year contract. Existing customers will naturally have to pay more, but even your discount is quite desirable compared to the MSRP.
You’ll be able to get it for just $230. The device boasts all of the same features from the original – dual-core processor, 4G, 1GB of RAM, 4.3 inch qHD display and more – but has a 3300 mAh battery that Verizon claims will get users 21 hours of talk time. Check it out here if you’re interested. [via AndroidGuys]
i’m not a math whiz here, but doesn’t the carrier charge a $30 activation fee for new users and none for existing. is there really a discount?
Still less than what verizon is charging……I thought your math comment was sarcasm…….i was mistaken i guess.
I would get the Galaxy Nexus for $100 on Amazon.
Do you have to have an upgrade available to get it at this price?
Yes sir!
I think it’s funny that phones are starting at $300 now. It’s like going to college. No one really pays full tuition unless they’re filthy rich or are not financially frugal at all and bad with money. Also I feel like they do it so that they can advertise discounts. Like how everything at some store are always half off. There really is never a real “sale”
Article neglects to mention you must be eligible for upgrade to get these prices, not simply be an existing customer. Please clarify.
