Garmin Nuvi Smartphone Connect Hands-On [CES 2012]
We covered Garmin’s announcement of the Nuvi Smartphone Connect feature that allows you to use your phone’s data connection with Bluetooth-enabled Garmin Nuvi devices. The online services were nothing new but Garmin i1 making it convenient for folks who’d rather not have to pay for a separate data connection just for their GPS’s data-required features. On the actual navigation unit you can get things like gas prices, traffic, weather reports and more. There’s not much to it so take a look in the video above.
