The NFL today announced that the Super Bowl will be streamed live to viewers on the internet and on Verizon Wireless mobile devices that have the NFL Mobile application. The reason it’s exclusive is because Verizon is the official wireless sponsor of the NFL.
Alongside the big game, which is set to kick off on February 5th, 2012 in Indianapolis, users will also be able to stream the Saturday wild card games and the Pro Bowl.
While I prefer to watch my championship football on the big screen this is a great option for those who won’t be as lucky for whatever reason. Grab the NFL Mobile client in the Android market here. [via NBC]
