Android 4.0.3 Source Code Pushed to the AOSP

Earlier today Google announced Android 4.0.3, and now the source code of the latest Ice Cream Sandwich version is available via the AOSP. For the first time ever, the push includes four separate versions of the source, including builds for the Motorola XOOM, Nexus S, and for the two versions of the Galaxy Nexus. It accomplishes a number of firsts, including the first AOSP release for a Verizon device, the first release for a non-Nexus device, and the first release for a tablet.

Googler Jean-Baptiste Queru calls the latest “the best release ever.” Strong words backed by a strong Android release.
